Mycotoxins are low-molecular-weight natural products. That is produced as secondary metabolites by filamentous fungi. Assessment of mycotoxin producing fungi isolated from dried tomatoes chips sold in Keffi, Nigeria. Fungi species were using standard microbiological methods. Sixty (60) dry purchased 5 different shops Keffi market. The percentage occurrence was 73.3 %. highest new market 13(86.6%) and the lowest Angwan Waje 9(60.0 %). A. niger, melleus, F. culmorum, Penicillium sp Cladosporium cladosporioides. Lambu niger flavus (20.0 From fumigates (20.0%) least culmorum C. cladosporioides (6.6 recorded melleus Citrinum (6.6%).Out 6 Fusarium screened for production 4 produce fumonisins toxin. Of 3 1 patulin 2 cyclopiazonic acid. Out Aspergillus fumigatus toxin only Different study area.
